Ezra and I spent last Sunday afternoon in Dallas with Aunt Poolie. Logan had band practice for a couple of hours so we took advantage of an afternoon in Dallas to hang out with one of Ezra's favorite Aunts. We checked out her hip neighborhood, went to a fun park, hung out at her apartment, and then ate dinner with Logan, Shana & Randall at a yummy restaurant in the Bishop Arts district. Thank you Aunt Poolie for spending your day with us. :0)

Busy, busy, busy at our house the past couple of weeks. Finally taking a second to update some pics of Ezra J. You might have seen these shots before but I wanted to post a few on this blog. They are new favorites of our almost 8 month old baby.

Uncle Chan was in town last week and stopped by for a little jam session with Logan and Ezra. He's about to graduate from med school and then he's headed to Philadelphia to begin his Residency. We are very proud of Chan! Or shall I say Dr. Chan!

Lots of things Ezra can do these days in his crib. One, he can turn the music on and off. I'm a very proud Mommy on this one! Two, he can reach up and grab the little animals that rotate on his mobile. Waiting for that to break any day now. :0) Three, he can stand up!!! Well, I think that one only happens with a little assistance from Logan. He called me back to the nursury yesterday as he was getting Ezra up from a nap. I walked in to find Ezra smiling as big as he could as he was standing up and holding onto the side railing! He seemed so proud of himself!
