I love how you've adapted the "where's waldo" idea to "where's mimi"!! Great early literacy skills. Ezra making personal connections with the text already and visual literacy, making meaning from the images on the page...great early steps to reading...not mention the most important, the "lap time" with YOU!!!
He is such a big kiddo sitting on that horse!
The diaper tells me how warm it must be for you guys...nice! Benny decided he didn't want to go to school today b/c he's tired of recess being so cold. The cut of temps here are 15 degrees Fahrenheit. So they are outside in snowsuits, etc. when it is 15 degrees. Fortunately, or not, today it was 11 degrees when I took him to school, so he was delighted they were having indoor recess. But the sun is shining beautifully, which makes all the difference in the world. It is fresh and crisp outside.

I'm glad he will remember Mimi and maybe know me next January when we return to Texas.
