Christmas Cookies with Cousins 12.23.08

Ok, so Ezra didn't really do much decorating but he did enjoy dancing with this Santa quite a bit. I think next year will be his year for cookies. I can just feel it!

Note for next year -- the best time for posed group pictures with Ezra J. is at the beginning and not when we are about to walk out the door. I still love these next two though. :0)

Ezra's first haircut - 12.20.08

Yes, yes, I know, he didn't have much hair to cut off but I'm sure you all will agree he looks very handsome with this little trim. Thank you to Aaron at 7th Street Barber Shop and thank you to Logan who was so very patient during Ezra's very important first hair cut.

More Christmas tree fun...

Our Christmas tree is finally up and Ezra is completely fascinated by it! He's been pretty good with it actually. I've counted three times that I've seen it almost come down but luckily we caught it before that happened. The ornaments are all just a little bit out of his reach but he still loves to try to reach for them. His favorite thing about the tree is the lights. It's the first thing that we do when we get home from school every day. He gets the biggest smile when we plug them in. Also, he loves to hide behind the tree. There's just enough space for him to go back in the corner. And he thinks it's so funny if you can spot him through the branches.

Had to take a break for a raisons snack....

I promise this was not posed. Well, Kermit was put there earlier in the day by Logan when he was cleaning up but Ezra and the books were not. He grabbed them on his own and sat down at the table. Oh man, this just made me smile and smile and smile when I discovered him there. Christmas tree pics coming soon....

We are grateful for an incredibly supportive family. A few shots from our turkey day yesterday at Nanna and Pop's house...
