A Day in the Life of Ezra

Here's a small glimpse at the photo session we had last month. I've been wanting to do this one for a while -- capture our family doing some of the things we love. Just about every day you can find us singing, dancing, reading, and just hanging out together having fun. Thank you to the incredibly talented Lindsey for photographing my family!!!

Logan moved into the new office building last Monday so this past weekend we went to check it out. Very nice! I've been wanting to snap a few shots ever since I saw that giant C go up on the corner of the building so thank you to my wonderful husband who always lets me go crazy with the pictures!

Happy 4th of July!

Ezra had a very busy and very fun week last week! Let's see -- two playdates, four trips to the pool, lunch with Mimi, music class, a round of golf (three holes for E.J.), a 4th of July cookout, and a trip to Logan's new office. He is one busy little guy!

This is kind of a long video but it shows so many of the very simple and sweet things that I love about Ezra. I can't believe he's ten months old!

Dallas Aquarium

We had a fun time at the Dallas Aquarium last week! Aunt Poolie joined us for the afternoon as we checked out the all the amazing fish, turtles, stingrays, sharks, and penguins.

These next shots were in their little cave type thing where the sharks are swimming above and around you. I had my camera on the wrong setting so the pictures are a little blurry but I still think they are kind of neat. I think the shark in the pictures below looks mad in the first one and then super happy in the second shot.

Ezra has gotten very good at standing up this past week...

And if you were wondering -- we do put clothes on Ezra every once in a while. Just not in any of our blog posts lately. :0)

A few pictures of our sweet baby boy enjoying his new favorite treat – Cheerios! He just started eating snacks this past week. Up until now we've just done his baby food and bottles. But since we got the green light from Dr. Murphy to start going for more solid foods we've started experimenting with some yummy treats. I thought it would take a while for him to get the hang of it but he mastered it in all of about five seconds.

This makes his Librarian Mommy so proud!!!

Ezra loves to pull down books off the shelf. I usually stop him for fear of him hurting himself but today I just decided to see what would happen. And look how it worked out!

Popcorn

I don't think Ezra has decided yet if he likes popcorn or not but it sure was fun to watch it pop! Ezra had his nine month doctor appointment last week -- 21 pounds, 12 ounces, 30 inches. A very healthy boy!
